Most hair salons are busy, full of people and sometimes cannot offer the relaxation that you so want. Whilst busy is good, sometimes after a busy day at work, you just crave some TLC, and a good experience that leaves you feeling restored, not frazzled! My experience at Tonsorial hair salon was unlike any other. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the owner Faghmie was ready to welcome me, the moment I stepped through the door.
Justin Bieber has hit our Cape Town shores, leaving a long trail of lovestruck teenage girls queing to see his live performance. Bieber will be performing at the Cape Town Stadium, 8 May 2013 much to the delight of many 'beliebers'.
Durban is the third largest city in South Africa, after Johannesburg and Cape Town. It is extremely popular with the tourists because of its all-round sunny weather. If you ask any South African to explain Durban's weather, they will say ‘exceptionally hot and humid’. However, the weather is not the only attraction Durban has to offer. The sandy beaches and the warm Indian Ocean will welcome any tourist. If surfing is one of your hobbies, make sure to visit New Pier as this is where you will find some of the best waves.
In fantastic news for our airline industry, fastjet today announced that it would be starting flights in South Africa from the end of May 2013. Fastjet has set up a joint venture with a company called Blockbuster, which is owned by a Mr Kajee and a Mr Zuma. We understand that the “Mr Zuma” is Edward Zuma, the son of South African President, Jacob Zuma. The joint venture will be 75% owned by South Africans, in order to comply with airline regulations which require that no more than 25% of an airline operating in South Africa is owned by foreigners. The end of May 2013 is obviously too soon for fastjet to get an operating license, and so they will be flying under the license of Federal Airlines, which is based in Johannesburg at O.R. Tambo International Airports, and is best known for its charter flights to the Kruger National Park.
