Do I Need an iPad Finger Substitute?
The iPad was designed by Apple to be highly intuitive. So intuitive, in fact, that a child could use one. Indeed, there are many videos online of children (and even pets!) successfully using iPads.
The thing is, something that children find intuitive isn't always that easy for adults to use. We don't know about you, but we haven't finger-painted in many years, and we're not that interested in going back to it. There's a reason that people use tools like pencils and pens as finger substitutes. After years of use, you get used to writing with tools, and it's hard to go back to using your fingers.
Luckily, the iPad stylus pen allows you to use the iPad with a tool that you've come to know and love. It makes typing, drawing, and manipulating data on the iPad much simpler and less frustrating.
Although the iPad doesn't come with it's own stylus, there are plenty of third-party providers that produce styli that work with the iPad (along with the iPhone and the iPod Touch).
These styli are functional and stylish - just like the iPad itself!
